SUMMARY:World Youth Choir Alumni Session 2023 - Concert Tour
DESCRIPTION:The World Youth Choir\, a non-profit programme\, was created in 1989 and has since gathered more than 1.000 singers from 70 countries in almost 40 sessions. The World Youth Choir has been awarded the title of UNESCO Artist for Peace (1996-1998)\, and performed at the Peace Nobel Prize Ceremony and Concert in Oslo (2011). The project is powered by the World Youth Choir Foundation as the legal body behind the project\, with the support of three patrons. \nA World Youth Choir Alumni Session will be held from the 6th-11th June 2023 in Croatia\, Slovenia and Hungary. This session will include a short rehearsal period in Groznjan (Croatia) and performances in Slovenia and Hungary. \nThe choir will be composed of singers who have taken part in a WYC session from 2016 to 2019. The selection process of singers aimed at creating a high-quality young ensemble with a balanced blend of voices and a wide geographic representation.
