DESCRIPTION:\nInternational Choir Competition and Festival\n\n\nNew name\, established host: In 2023 the city of Bruckner\, Linz in Austria welcomes choirs from all over the world to the International Choir Competition and Festival “SOUND WAVES Linz” at the Danube river. \nIn addition to special competition categories for Children’s\, Youth and Young Adult choirs\, a new Folklore category has been added to the program\, which will give an exciting insight into the special choir traditions of the world. \n\n\nVenues like the Brucknerhaus\, the first address in the cultural and concert life of the city of Linz\, the Linz Cathedral and the St. Florian Monastery provide a top-class setting for the event. \nThe festival of choral music offers participating choirs the opportunity to take part in competitions as well as in Friendship and Gala Concerts and to sing in a large international festival choir together with fellow singers from all over the world. \n\n\n\nBe the first one to share this post!
