DESCRIPTION:passion for collective singing at the Choralies. Organised by the association À Cœur Joie\, this festival\, open to all\, has been blending tradition and modernity in choral music for nearly 75 years. Thanks to the commitment of 450 motivated and caring volunteers\, it brings together enthusiasts and the curious in a friendly\, festive atmosphere. \nFifty choral ateliers \nEvery morning\, participants join choral ateliers to form temporary choirs led by internationally renowned choral conductors. These ateliers\, lasting from 1 to 8 days\, are the largest choral training event in France..\nSuitable for all levels\, from beginner to advanced singer\, they cover a wide range of musical styles\, enabling everyone to progress in a stimulating\, collaborative atmosphere. \nThe charm of Provence with a musical accent \nIn the afternoons\, various concert venues across the city welcome French and international choirs\, offering a unique choral scene. Conferences and meetings are also organised to discuss topics of interest to singers\, conductors and choir managers.\nThe enchanting setting of Vaison-la-Romaine adds an incomparable dimension to the Choralies experience. Nestling at the foot of Mont Ventoux and surrounded by hills\, this historic Provencal town is famous for its Roman remains\, its cathedral and its famous Roman bridge. Its cobbled streets with their medieval charm and its surrounding vineyards create the perfect backdrop for encounters\, reflection and inspiration. \nSing and thrill under the stars \nEvery evening\, the Théâtre antique opens its doors to festival-goers and the general public. The evening begins with an Open Singing session (chant commun)\, a powerful moment when 4\,000 voices unite under the stars. This moment of pure emotion is followed by exceptional concerts given by choirs and vocal ensembles that have never been performed before in France. \nThe Choralies are THE french “rendez-vous” for choral lovers\, but also for those in search of musical emotions in an exceptional setting. \nBe the first one to share this post!
