Don’t miss this extraordinary opportunity to bring your work to the world stage with the Azrieli Music Prizes (AMP)—one of the world’s most prestigious composition competitions. Created in 2014 by Sharon Azrieli CQ for the Azrieli Foundation, AMP offers the largest prize package of its kind. Whether you are an emerging or established composer, this is your chance to have your music performed, recorded, and recognized on an international scale.

This sixth edition marks AMP’s largest call in its 10-year history, seeking works for choir and orchestra (with optional soloists). The competition includes four categories: The Azrieli Commission for International Music, The Azrieli Commission for Canadian Music, The Azrieli Commission for Jewish Music, and The Azrieli Prize for Jewish Music. AMP prize packages are valued at over $200,000 CAD, including a cash award of $50,000 CAD; a premiere of the prize-winning work at a gala concert in Montreal during the 2026-27 season, which will also be livestreamed globally; at least two subsequent international performances; and a commercial recording release.

AMP welcomes applications from composers of all ages, genders, nationalities, faiths, and backgrounds. No application fee.
